Girl Dreams

Redefine Gallery | Orlando, FL | December 2021

A multi-channel installation that recreates the energy of sharing secrets and desires at a sleepover. The eight screens all play looped 3D animations depicting fragments of dreams relating to transness and womanhood. In between all the televisions is a 6’2” soft sculpture, covered in lace, representing the artist.

WAILT (Why Am I Like This?)

CityArts Gallery | Orlando, FL | January 2021

An installation made up of many individual parts. A soft sculpture covered in a shroud that has “I am not a bad person” embroidered over and over. A hand bound, self portrait, art book. Typographic posters containing “intrusive thoughts”. A shrine to myself. All of these, and a few others, all work together to attempt to give a very detailed portrait of the artist’s experience with self and how that self is shaped by mental illness.

Garden of Bodies

Part of “Beyond the Image: Explorations of Self” curated by Gisela Carbonell

CityArts Gallery | Orlando, FL | April 2019

A multiple-channel installation that features videos of queer/transgender individuals in repose in various locations. This piece is meant to serve as an objective piece, akin to a plant identification glossary. It was conceived as a project to collect and display a large spectrum of what queer and trans people look like so that others could find themselves in the images
